Automate business processes

Automate processes in your business

Do you retype information between forms, emails and Excel? DustinLabs automates recurring work: from a single manual step to a complete connected workflow. We agree on processing and checks for each project. Your team remains in control of exceptions and what is sent to customers.

Example: receive an enquiry, check the data and create a task; a member of staff assesses missing information
Example process: automatic processing, with human review of exceptions.

Possible applications

From retyping to a checked next step

These examples show what we can investigate and build. They are example situations, not measured customer results. What is possible depends on your software and the information available.

Pass enquiry details on

Now
An enquiry arrives through your website. Someone copies the details to a customer list and creates a task.
Automatic
The selected fields appear in the customer overview, with a task for the responsible employee.
Your review
Incomplete requests and possible duplicate customers are set aside for review.

Complete the document set

Now
Photos, forms and attachments arrive separately. For each enquiry, you have to find out what is still missing.
Automatic
Attachments are collected in the correct file and checked against the agreed document list.
Your review
A member of staff assesses whether the content is usable. If there is doubt, the file remains open.

Prepare follow-up

Now
You reread earlier messages to determine which customer needs a reply or a callback.
Automatic
An outstanding task receives the enquiry details and a draft response or callback note.
Your review
Your team reviews the content and decides what is sent to the customer.

From enquiry to use

From a manual task to working automation

  1. Show us one recurring task

We go through a recent enquiry or file: where does information arrive, what do you do with it and where is time lost?

  2. Agree on the processing

We specify the required data, automated steps, error messages and human checks. You then receive a proposal.

  3. Build and test using familiar scenarios

Alongside a complete request, we test missing fields, duplicate input and an integration that fails to respond.

  4. Review the functionality together

You see how to check a process and what to do when an exception occurs. Management and later extensions are agreed separately.

Questions about your process and existing software

Do we need to start using different software?

That is not our starting point. We first investigate your current forms, files and systems. For an integration, we check the available API, export options, access rights and any costs. Only then do we commit to what can be connected.

Does this always require AI?

No. A fixed rule or standard software integration is often sufficient. AI can help with unstructured text but requires different checks. We choose a technology only once it is clear what the task needs.

What happens if data is missing or a system does not respond?

We specify in advance which processing stops, which data is retained and who must assess an error. Recovery behaviour is part of development and the agreed test scenarios.

What does automation cost?

A small automation for a known, clearly defined process usually costs €500–€1.000 excluding VAT; business automation usually costs €1.500–€3.500. More extensive automation starts from €3.500. A short review of a single process costs €249 if needed beforehand. We first budget unknown integrations, exceptions and more extensive research. Licences, API usage and ongoing management are separate.

Who keeps the automation working?

Before starting, we record who manages the accounts used, who follows up notifications and which checks or changes fall within ongoing management. Licences and subscriptions are listed separately.

Investigate first

Brief process assessment / advice

A clearly defined review of a single process when an introductory meeting is not enough. You receive advice on the first step; more extensive research is budgeted separately.
