A complaint about our services
State the service involved, invoice or customer reference, what happened and the solution you expect. We acknowledge your complaint and aim to provide a substantive reply within 14 days. If investigation takes longer, we explain the next step and when you can expect a reply. Submitting a complaint is free.
This procedure does not limit your statutory rights. You may bring a dispute before the competent court. For a privacy complaint, you may also contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority).
Report illegal content on a hosted website
Use the contact form and state “Report of illegal content”. No account is needed. Provide as precisely as possible:
- The exact URL or location of the content.
- A reasoned explanation of why you believe the content is illegal, and where possible the relevant law or right that has been infringed.
- Your name and email address, so we can confirm receipt and communicate the outcome. These details may be omitted for reports of certain criminal offences involving child sexual abuse.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.
Do not include illegal images; a location and description are sufficient. We assess reports promptly, carefully and without arbitrary treatment. Where possible, you receive an acknowledgement and a decision explaining the reasons and available next steps. If information is missing, we may request clarification.
How do we assess content?
DustinLabs assesses specific reports and warning signs; we do not routinely review all content stored by customers in advance. Technical measures may detect or temporarily block spam, malware or harmful traffic. Reports about content are reviewed by a person. We consider the severity, context, applicable law, our usage rules and the rights of those involved, including freedom of expression.
A measure may be limited to the content concerned or, when necessary, involve a temporary restriction or suspension of a service. Where permitted, we inform the affected customer of the facts, the legal or contractual reason, any use of automated detection, the measure and the options for challenging it. Immediate intervention may be needed in the event of imminent danger or a binding order.
If you disagree with a decision, reply to the message or use the contact form with the reference and your explanation. We reconsider based on the information provided. Your access to a court or supervisory authority remains available. We handle suspected criminal offences involving a danger to life or safety in accordance with statutory reporting obligations.
Security issue or data breach
Confidentially report a vulnerability or possible data breach through the contact form. Describe the location, time and how the issue can be identified. Do not access other people's data, change anything or share personal data publicly. Do not send passwords, full datasets or identity documents in your initial message. We will agree on a secure way to exchange information if more details are needed.
